Destiny

You are what your deep, driving desire is.
As your desire is, so is your will.
As your will is, so is your deed.

If this is true, then it's pretty exciting news. In other words, if we want to do something, if we really, really want it, then we can do it - no doubt about it. As my head resurfaces once more above the water level of my insomnia that did so well to keep pulling my down over the past three years, I find my zest for life returning. I know that it's still early days; that I need to keep being grateful for each day that I feel like this and that I will doubtless have to contend with bouts of sleeplessness again. But in the here and now and today I can be hopeful and optimistic and think about this deep, driving desire and feel energised and excited by what the future holds for me.
