If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.

Homeopathy, the healing system whereby 'like cures like' in a very small dilution, is something I have often dabbled with, particularly with the girls. But it has only ever been just this - dabbling. Because homeopathy medicine is 100% natural, it's something I've been interested in for a while but never really scraped beyond the surface.
For the past month of so I have been taking several drops each night of Passiflora, extracted from the passion flower and long used by indigneous people of Central and North America for its sedative and tranquilizing properties. I'm not sure if it's been helping - it certainly hasn't been doing any harm. But after 4 poor nights of sleep in a row, I realised last night that I'd been forgetting to take the Passiflora for these four nights and took it again before I went to bed. I fell asleep before Andy had even got into bed not long after me. This never happens. I'm not saying it was definitely because of the passiflora - I'm sure there were a combination of factors at play. But still - it may have helped. So I shall keep taking it and also want to explore this ancient healing system of homeopathy for all kinds of ailments, not just insomnia.
